Art and manner at soandso

A know-how, the secret of which is ours

We could keep it, sealed like our jewels. Yes, but no...

Our most precious manufacturing secret is sharing, in complete trust. Since this chain of passion galvanizes us, we invite you to be a part of it.

To each their own traditions! Here are ours, set with French excellence... well guarded.

A for Crafts

creation

First prerequisite for manufacturing: the model of a template, by jewelers and leatherworkers.

The foundry

Head to Drôme Provençale, another bucolic neighborhood of Soandso. There, a mold is created from the first model made in Aix-en-Provence. Using lost-wax casting, the desired piece is crafted from metal. A technique used in fine crafts, this process is the prerogative of shapes as delicate as they are complex.

Metals

the finishes

Polished or set, our jewelry is finished by hand: ours. All assembly takes place here, by hand, regardless of the combinations, the object of our greatest care.

Electroplating

A big word, certainly, but it galvanizes our jewelry, lastingly. Take solid 925/1000 silver, or even brass for some – rare – of our references; deposit a layer of gold on it by electrolysis… Treated as is on the surface, there is our / your jewelry ready for a long time!

Leather

The tannery

Goat leather, softening the Caillou collection, or cowhide, softening the Oursin collection, all our leathers are of French or Italian origin. Recognized for their excellence, the two tanners we have chosen guarantee vegetable tanning: in other words, chrome-free. As a bonus to this sustainable development, these leather qualities develop a patina over time. Wear without moderation...

Leather goods

Since the work doesn't always stop at metalworking, this renowned workshop is another valuable ally. A master of small leather goods, from sheathing the leather to polishing the edges, it ensures our straps are handcrafted and offer various subtleties with flying colors. It's all about the details, it's all about the details.

But still...

Boxes, like jewels

Larch, pine, sanded wagon planks coated with Judean bitumen... Old desks reworked into confidential display cases... Creations from scratch under the fire of an ironworker working in the tradition of old-fashioned trades: hot, with a hammer on the anvil. Homemade elbow grease or complementary know-how, nothing is too beautiful or unique to showcase our rings, necklaces, earrings and bracelets.
